DFO was established in 1999 inside the Antiques etc building in Avalon, New Jersey, bringing distinctive fabrics, furniture and accessories to the island. In 2002 Antiques etc was acquired by owner,Catherine Swider, after which the two businesses combined to offer the the public selective and unique collection of new and antique home furnishings and accessories.

The two businesses thrived together and gained popularity, becoming well known for offering  great finds whether it be fabric,a dining tables, chairs, hutches, sideboards, beds, dressers,  area rugs, art work, mirrors or various other unique and pleasing adornments for the home

In November of 2010, DFO and Antiques etc  relocated to a new  address just one block away from the original location. We are now located at 2005 Dune Drive where they have been enthusiastically received by their strong customer base
